TCA Cervix Treatment

Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) treatment is an in-office procedure used to remove abnormal or precancerous cells from the surface of the cervix. TCA is a medical-grade solution applied directly to the affected area, which works by gently destroying abnormal tissue so healthy cells can regrow. This treatment is often recommended for certain cervical changes detected through Pap smears or colposcopy. The procedure is quick, does not require anesthesia, and most patients experience only mild discomfort, such as a brief stinging or burning sensation. At CIMA, we provide TCA treatments in a safe, supportive environment, with careful follow-up to monitor healing and ensure the best possible outcome.
